So, we did a 360 to the left, the Dash 8 was cleared to land, and we came floating s-l-o-w-l-y in… many…. minutes… l a t e r!!!
Interestingly, the surface winds were only 5 knots! Made for some amusing and educational flight conditions on final.
I can see now why we had to cancel our cross country last weekend, with similar upper wind conditions. We would have been three hours back from Peterborough – at best!
