There were so many planes in the circuit that as we waited on Delta behind a 172 and in front of a Dash-8 to take off on 26, we heard the controller over the radio advising an incoming Cessna who wanted to finish off a session with some circuits, “unable, cleared straight in for full stop on 26”!
Although it’s exciting to see so many pilots and planes doing their thing, part of me misses the cold, clear winter days when only the most “hardy” come out and fly alongside the big Porter and Air Canada birds….
