Well, things did not start off well as I stepped out of the car and promptly dropped my POH into a giant mud puddle, lol! Nevertheless, I managed to get my gear up across the threshold of Starbucks and then balance said gear in one hand while juggling my salted caramel hot chocolate in the other. Once I had been installed in a comfy chair upstairs, and spread my FTM, POH and CFS out around me, a fellow nearby started groaning. (He seemed to be having some sort of relationship with his newspaper.) It was not conducive to studying, but happily he and his newspaper soon moved to another, more remote table, and I was able to delve into Cross Wind Componant Charts and mental review of circuits on 26 for about half an hour before the arrival of a friend from Ground School and his boisterous kids!!!
