At first, this airport-hopping was
spontaneous and comfortable with that sort of thing).
Although City is still my favourite, I think flying to different airports helps you apply your circuit skills to new situations -- I find I am overdependant on land features
(water) at City Ctre. Also, the smaller airports are sometimes less distracting to practise at, since there may be no ATC, and no commercial airlines around. So, you get to concentrate on specific aspects of circuit training.
Brampton awaits me this Sat.
There is a women pilots' lunch begin held there, so I asked one of the female flight instructors if she would go with me, and cleared it with the flight school owner, i.e. signed up for a longer lesson, and got his permission to be on the ground for a few hours over lunch before heading back.
Having a destination makes the whole thing more fun, more "real"! Change is an important motivator with me and my severe ADHD tendencies -- keeps me engaged in the 57 000th time I have to try and fail at cross wind landings, if at least the landscape changes, lol!
Not to mention, it's a nice way to ease into "Navigation", my next big challenge...
