Ohhhh, I so understand, Pierce. It's hard to be smart, and quick, and get things 99.7 percent of the time according to your CCAT stanines, and then simply NOT understand a seemingly simple procedure like fiddling with two sharp, wooden sticks. It sucks, really, to discover that you are not an instant expert at absolutely everything, especially when you've been able to quickly master everything you've encountered to date in your short life!

I simply cannot grasp the concept of when precisely to pull back on the control column and when to pull back on the throttle and when to move my eyes from the numbers to the end of the runway. And of course, we have the problem that when I don't "get it" after the first two attempts, I get lazy and sloppy and then it is all over.
I wonder... how is Pierce doing these days.
