Sometimes I wish I were simpler, so I could just memorize stuff, and not wonder about it so much, lol!
G force, as I learned today, is an “apparent force”. Now there's a mind bender! I mean, okay, so I know that gravity pulls you down, and that when you turn roll the plane and bank it, the "pull" you feel is not really gravity, but rather a combination of gravity and speed/velocity... the felt effect of acceleration. But "apparent"? I mean, really! If I am FEELING it physically in my body, how can it be apparent? Good grief, this physics stuff is philosophically astounding.

Welcome to Vera's Flight Brain...Here I will attempt -- hopefully not in vain -- to share my connections to previous knowledge. Or I might share a few random thoughts loosely connected to flying, too, as well as any useful resources I may stumble across in my studies.
