After checking out some of the planes on display, we decided to head back to CYTZ. Upon start up, some fellow pilots stopped us to tell us they were concerned about the marginal VFR conditions; didn't we want to wait it out? But the revised visibility was still about 3 miles, and the lowest cielings were 1600, AND we were familiar with the area, so we decided to head back to Toronto. Despite the lousy weather, it was fun to fly to an actual destination.
Today we went to Oshawa for my "lesson" ... Some sort of open house event was being held, and free breakfast (crappy pancakes and cofee) was on offer for those who arrived before 10 a.m. We were the first to arrive by plane!
